    It snowed

This year all season changes have been very sudden. For the longest time it wasn't real spring then suddenly, BAM! Same with fall. Now suddenly after a really mild and pleasant fall, we have all this scary white stuff outside. If rain is god's tears, then snow is god's dandruff.

We had about 3 feet come down, late September/early October. But it's been fairly warm the last few days and now we're under a foot of snow.
It's not the size of the dog, in the fight. It's the size of the fight, in the dog.

No guts, no glory. All pain, and fury.

Do you have to put stakes in the ground to mark where all the lutefisk is buried?
          I don't know.

Have you checked your persimmon seeds? From the look of ours, we should have snow this winter. Wooly bear caterpillars are showing it too according to the folks at the feed store.
Give a man a match, & he'll be warm for 20 seconds. But toss that man a white phosphorus grenade and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Oh, it's like frozen rain; sort of.

It falls in mass quantities here.

You can melt it, to make water; it's our main source of water, in the winter. Ice is usually better though, for melting purposes.

We even eat, flavored snow; as a sweet treat.

If you simmer maple syrup till it's a little thicker, you can drizzle it on the snow to make candy for the kids.
                        I don't know.

Yellow snow is a deadly Eskimo weapon.
