It's about losing the grid.
Ted says if we lose our power grid, it will be for a minimum of two years. In the first year, only 1 out of 10 people will survive. That's not good odds (though I'm positive the world would be a better place if 99% of the population were gone. Is that the right math? 1 out of 10 = 99%?)
