I sold an older jeep last week. I mentioned it on here...... This week I am selling a 2001 4 door 4x4 Chevy truck.

I thought I would show you why...................

When the dust settles I will be purchasing a nice newer jeep.......... Something like this maybe:






I realize the gas mileage would SUCK, but I don't mind. Any thoughts or opinions?

I had a jeep, a truck, a 4 wheeler and 2 motorcycles. Selling off the jeep, truck, and maybe the bikes. I use the 4 wheeler at work.

My wife and son both have their own vehicle too..............

Looks nice Maya but you aint gonna stay very clean with no doors especially on a mud run. Hell I even have doors on my SxS..

Yeah, I like the option though. You know, I have had dirt bikes almost my whole life, teach ATV safety to coworkers, and am in the woods as part of my job almost 24/7

At this stage in my life, more than the wild mud splashing days,

I savor a quiet slow drive down a forest trail.............................

possibly seeing woodland creatures........................

shooting them and eating them..................

But seriously, I like driving through the woods. Taking the top and doors off will be fun at times. Leaving them on and spashing through the mud will too.


I really like some of the kevlar painted jeeps I have found recently. That just seems cool.

If its one thing I have learnt with owning a 4x4 is they dont fit in the same sentence as gas milage.
On a more serious note, do you think you could mount a GPMG on the bar behind the driver and make it a gun platform

You could always get a SxS like a Polaris RZR, Kawasaki Teryx, or a Yamaha Wolverine if you want to go places a Jeep wont.

Yes. Salesman described in detail the mounting platform. They custom build it onto the tube steel doors




They rifle mounts for the tube doors and the roll bar..................... That's the kind of folks we are down here........

What JEEP model is this?

I remember some Jeep names but I never owned one.

Is it a Wrangler or a CJ something or other?

I would put doors on it if I owned one like this.

I got mine. It's black kevlar, looks like rhino-lining. Its a wrangler Sahara. Mine has doors and a soft top.
