My MIL is a major hoader. 7 Bedrooms the kitchen lounge and 3 car garaging full to the roof. Not to mention shit under trees and in old garden sheds.
When she goes toes up it will be left to me to sort out. If I didnt buy the property off them a few years ago I would be more than happy to burn it to the ground and walk away.

I had a close friend that married a hoarder. He ended up doing some stupid shit and went to prison for a few years. When he went, we tried to help his wife and kids. We were trying to clean the place up and she had cupboards full of empty food boxes, organized by color. She had hundreds of cigarette boxes, baby food jars, milk jugs, everything that they used, she saved.

I knew a guy like that. House full of folded boxes, years of mail, newspapers, cans stacked everywhere. He didn't go to jail, the nuns watched him pretty closely, they left him sticky notes. " don't forget to eat" and stuff like that. He lived in government housing.Bigger the Government, the smaller the Citizen.

My mil even knows if something is missing. We tried to clean some of the garaging out while they were on holiday 3 years ago. Within an hour of her being home she knew stuff was gone and even knew what without even looking to hard.
