    Something that I ..

am ashamed to say that I NEVER thought of...

.......Keeping a bicycle tire pump in your car for emergencies. In some cases, you could plug your tire then add enough air with said pump to get you to a tire shop, or home. They are also cheap, and don't take up much space.

It's much easier to carry a couple cans of FixaFlat and a 12 volt air pump.
    Screw diplomacy...........bring it!

            Actually . . . the last time I had a flat tire, I was 18-19 years old.

I maintain my vehicle. No breaking down on the side of the road and becoming easy prey

Flat tires can come at any time when you least expect it..........kinda like having an orgasm.

True. But when you are a woman and you call Triple A, the first thing they ask is are you in a safe location. If you say no, they stay on the line with you and you are given priority status and a truck is there in 15 minutes or less. Well worth the $55 a year fee for peace of mind

They also come in handy for pumping up a soccer ball. But they come much smaller Talon. That big thang you posted takes up too much space if you're carrying everything else you want to bring.

What kind of survivalist are you. 😈

Always owned a jalopy of some Asian flavor. I encourage any sensible person to do a biweekly check of fluids, tire pressure, and basic visual inspection of lines, hoses and joints. I carry a full tool kit for basic parts changes and repairs.

in terms of pumps, get the 12v Slime Green model, I have been using mine for over a year to top off my tires. Takes me about 10 minutes and I haven't had a car issue on the road outside of two flats from a nail. Along with the pump you need a simple plug kit. I recommend you do not use the fix-a-flat cans unless in a dire emergency in temperate weather. The cans go bad, where the plugs are good for years and are a perm. fix. Also a quart of oil and some brake fluid helps in a pinch.

"Fix a flat" is a huge scam, it fails more than it works. I say tire plugs, and a either a bicycle pump or a small electrical pump, or preferably both.

Use it as a melee weapon in an emergency!
