Does anyone here drive an Audi?

I'm thinking of getting my wife an Audi Q5. I'm an "American car" guy, but the only American car I will buy now is a Ford, and I don't think that the Lincoln crossovers (MKX) are as nice as the Audi. I'm thinking about getting a 2010-2012 model.

What to see if any of you know anything about them...what I should be looking out for...what options are a must have...things like that.

Expensive to fix and they're a pain in the ass to work on.

Everything is expensive to fix now. Hell, putting batteries in my truck is 400 dollars.

Owned an A6 a few years ago it was a god damn weapon.
Family sedan with a high performance engine and the quattro AWD drive system.
It would honestly be the best car I have ever owned. Its a pity it got rear ended.
Servicing is 3 times the price of anything else being Euro but the servicing is done at longer intervals.

The more I am looking at them and the price range that used Q5 have, I think I'm leaning more towards 2011-2013 models. A Q5 Quattro premium plus with around 80-90K miles is only in the 17-20K range. That's not bad at all.

They're really good cars. My sons gf had one and he put a transmutation in it. I was amazed at the design and how you could access everything if you knew where to look. Thankfully there are manuals online. But I imagine the repair bills are high when they do break.

                Have you considered a Landrover?
Their nice cars. Heated seats, duel climate control and enuff cup holders for a fire team.

Please don't buy her an Audi, get her a BMW or Volks Wagon instead I fucking hate Audi drivers with a passion.

Yeah and don't get a Subaru either. They're the official car of lesbians everywhere.

BTW What kind of gas mileage are you getting in your Outback rover?

I don't know how good of mileage they get but they don't ever seem to go as fast as I'm trying too.
I've never owned a car made in Asia ever.

                          Landrovers
Oh yeah, Volkswagen, I had a few of those.

I couldnt put up a solid response the other day since I was on my phone.
My buddy is into Audis, you can fix them up to haul ass, he has good times in his and has even taken one of them to that local track a couple times for shits and giggles. He has one, as does his wife, the kid has two, one for commute one to race. But...keep in mind...they are mechanics, so they dont have the issues with upkeep costs, since every thing is done at cost. But they do love them and have had several.
