This was my very first tree! I proper messed up at the end part but in fairness it was rotten and my first one.

Ummmm I teach a class on safe chainsaw use. You should find one in your area and take it. Or better yet, hire someone who has a clue.

I have several chainsaws. Only ever cut myself once with one tho. But I've ruined a few coats.

Reminds me of watching a disaster when someone hires the cheapest guy on Craigslist to do tree work. Insurance? Who needs insurance when you have a disposable phone?

I can forgive multiple cuts with a 20" baby saw, but the whole "it hung up and I am leaving to get my other stuff without flagging shit out...." He even captures his "friend" MMM walking UNDER the widowmaker he created....

I don't like this dude, that is obvious. My reason is simple. He posts his shit all over a bunch of sites. He ALWAYS comes off like he invented survivalism. But he is just out there winging it and figuring shit out on the fly.

I admire someone with no skills trying shit. He is ahead of 90% of internet warriors who never go to the woods.

But his arrogance just kills me in light of his ignorance.

I cut a few of my trees every year for fuel. Sometimes they'll do a weird twist or split and barber chair. I've had them hang up a couple times. If you're selectively cutting it can get tricky. But you're not doing it the right wsy. A tree that size should be 3 cuts. A big tree might take wedging and side cutting.
