Anyone do any cooking with freeze dried/dehydrated foods? I buy quite a bit of #10 cans of the stuff. Mostly Augusan Farms. Their potato gems are awesome. I've noticed though that almost all the brands have sodium through the roof. Not a problem for me, but not good for anyone with hypertension or water retention problems. Would love to find some that are low sodium as well as some that carry real meat instead of the meat substitute crap. Emergency Essentials I think it is carries a selection of canned meats, but their prices are ridiculous for the small amount of meat you get.

The Mormon Church has a website, and does their own canning. I understand it is cheaper and better quality than most other stuff. They also have "can your own" places, but I heard they were changing that at some locations and not letting the customer do it themselves anymore.Let’s Go Brandon!!!!!
