    New Tires for F-250

    I need new tires for an F-250 Super Duty. I'm currently using Fierce Attitude M/T. (285/75 R16). They are great for running the back roads and logging roads, but they are so loud while driving on asphalt and the braking distance is terrible.

    I need advice on which tires to purchase . I need a tire that will be on the highway 75% and in muddy pastures about 25%.

      That is what I was thinking, too. I'm looking at Goodyear Wranglers, Kumho, or Cooper. Hard to decide.

        Wranglers are good. I have had good results with them out west on rough trails that punctured other tires.

          When I need them I'm stickin with the Michelin A/T I have now. Anything else will screw up my speedometer.
          Screw diplomacy...........bring it!

            I'll checkout the Michelins also. I hope to be released to drive within the next couple of weeks. I'm reading the various reviews.

              What do you think about the Toyo open country a/t 2? I can get 4 mounted on the truck and they are only $956 including tax.

                I know a lot of guys in my group swear by them. I love the Federal Couragia. They are very quiet.

                    I've been looking at the BFG KO2 also. Lots of choices out there. I guess it will come down to price.
