I have posted about this before but I just got my new and improved antenna. It was $70 off of amazon. I put it in my attic and now get 55 channels free.

Several of them run all the old comedies and westerns.

Our pattern with satellite was that we would scan a few hundred channels and then settle on an old show just to have it on something.

I also kept the Netflix account for movies and stuff.

So anyway, I did talk about this before, but I just got the new antenna and it is so very awesome.

Maybe it wasn't here.... Anywho... Yes Harry... $70 for the equipment to get on air broadcasting like you used to be able to get with a coat hanger antenna.

At least I am not paying hundreds monthly for satellite anymore.

And yes... I could just sit alone in my kitchen watching lizards multiply. That seems to be an option.

Many cable and satellite companies compress the signal so you may not get full hd, not so with broadcast tv. I get more digital hd channels than I can watch and no monthly bill. I watch some netflix and other stuff as well occasionally. Who doesn't like to netflix and chill?

I stream with a roku. Lots of channels, old and obscure stuff for free. I can't get antenna tv here in the mountains. I do pay for netflix though.

We do have Netflix and Shomi though, but Shomi is going under; so we'll just have Netflix.
