    Silver Stacking

I admit it. I silver stack. I'm primarily in ASE's and Morgan/Peace dollars. With silver at a 6 year low and anticipated to drop another $2 an ounce, I'm buying every month. Important note, there isn't that much of a demand for silver on the world market. The demand is in the US where it is used for the production of ASE's.

I'm not adding to my gold at this point because I think we can see a drop over the summer that might carry into early next year. My personal trigger is $900 an ounce. If you can at that and hold for 10-15 years, I think you will see more than double your return.

As someone who works with metal, I really want silver to stay low until... forever.

I like ASE's and silver dollars because they are recognizable to the general public. If you use a Sunshine Mint round in a trade, most of the general public is puzzled/uninterested. You break out Morgans and eyes light up. Of course I'm referencing gun and knife trades, etc.

Are you watching this jump in silver $14.54? I don't know if this is the beginning of the rise or just a hiccup. I'm inclined to think hiccup.

I have a little regular silver. But I mostly do junk silver.
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!

I've traded in junk silver in the past. I find it easier to liquidate and get higher premiums with ASE's and silver dollars due to recognition.

Silver is still over $20/oz for me. Fucking Canadian dollar rolled over and died at the same time silver was going down. Yippee.

We took Detroit too, and then said 'Ew, Detroit!' and gave it back.

I'm through with my trades for the month. I'll try to post a pic of this month's stack in the next couple of days.

I buy sterling cutlery. I'm hoping when the government decides we can't own gold or silver I'll be able to keep my dining utensils.

Have you thought about melting sterling and casting your own bars? There are several youtube videos showing how to do it.

I don't want to melt my sterling. I have dinner parties with all the special spoons and forks and stuff. You should see my adorable salt spoons.
