    TK's Urban Farm

From start to finish with 1/8 acreage of land. Including plans, pictures, sketch ups and details from start to finish.

I will be creating a cornucopia of numerous fruit bearing trees and vines along with raised garden beds, free standing garden beds and a greenhouse to grow the dope in. Fowl will also be considered as a afterthought to round everything out. I will use this thread to share with you my trials and tribulation in a truly torturous format that will leaving you creaming your panties.

1st off will be space evaluation. The lot is 140ftx70ft, usable lot space dedicated to the urban farm is approx 85ftx75ft. Plan is to creatively layer the area to maximize use and diversity of plant species, along with how these species will grow and interact with each other as the garden grow to full form.

Yes Mayaca, start to finish, scary as it sounds.

I don't even know what you can grow out there. I think you can fertilize with sushi.
          I don't know.

Sounds good, if I had fewer trees I'd make a greenhouse. Raised beds are in my small unshaded area.

Here are some pics prior to work being done.

This is the oldest digi-pic I have of the space, I have other photos but will start with this. This was taken in the summertime prior to any work being started.

Here are pics from last month, prior to any work being done.

This has potential, yes it does.

Well part of my plan is collecting runoff from the roofs to store for additional water, just dont tell the city. But water is scarce and one of the reasons I am trying to plan this out to maximize the yield with what I have to work with.

(Also that is a reason I am trying to get proper ground coverage, to help hold water in. Since water will be a serious factor )

I don't mean to tell you your culture or anything, but I'm pretty sure there's a dance you can do.

I have nothing to add and no desire to shit on this thread, this is the first thread I've subscribed too and I'm looking forward to updates.

I'm also hoping for some inspiration.

I think you'll have fun. Have you considered a cistern? Maybe slope the land toward the center and disguise it as some sort of focal point.
                              I don't know.
