Wasted 5 hours yesterday

One of my hives swarmed, 30 feet up a water oak........

dropped it in a sheet after chopping the hell out of the tree........

had close to 70k bees tucked into the waiting new hive.......

the bitch didn't want to play..

dropped her and 1/2 the gang again......

couple hours later.....the whole gaggle where back up the tree @50 feet.....

woke up this am they still where there, called around and had a reach truck lined up for trade in honey...

went into town for dognuts, beer and smokes.....gone mayhaps 30 minutes....

the fuckers are gone...

still owe the bucket truck friend 5 quarts of honey...

hoping for better luck on the next swarm.........

You should have got africanized bees. They would have felt entitled to your hive and wouldn't have swarmed.

I have a swarm living in one of my hollow trees. Since I'm allergic to bee stings, I leave them alone

got stung over 100 times threw the suit even
