A chassis-based handgun with interchangeable grips, the APX – as it was dubbed – was clearly designed with the US Army’s Modular Handgun System pistol competition in mind. Looks like a glock that is comfortable in the hand. Not too shabby.

Haven't read the article. Will in a few.

Looks like someone is trying to get noticed again for the military pistol contract. How beretta of them.
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!

I'm not a fan of beretta. I mean I have a m9. It's alright. The shotguns are superb. But this pistol looks pretty badass. Love the slide seriations(did I spell that right?). Like the frame lock also.

It will not make me switch from Glock though. I might buy one though.

Right! Looks aweful just like a Glock. A friend of mine had one in the late 80's I didn't like them back then and still don't.

Everyone is trying to make a Glock knockoff now. The problem is that they always seem to have bugs that need to be worked out. So I tell everyone "If you want a Glock, get a GLOCK."

I like the Glock action, but not the grip. Y'all laugh if you must, but I love my S&W Sigma. Its a comfortable Glock.

My buddy had a, Sigma when they first came out. It was actually a really nice shooting pistol.

The first handgun I ever owned was a Beretta 92F/M9. They make a damn good product, so I wouldn't have any qualms about owning one of these, but I would still take the Glock, simply because I would know what I'm getting.

Its my regular carry piece. Mine is a gen 2. The early ones had an issue of cracking. The newer ones are solid but have a horrid trigger pull. Post Glock lawsuit they added springs in the sear. Once I removed the "Glock" springs the trigger now has a nice 7lb or so pull.
