    Norinco 22lr Magazines

I bought a Norinco JW15 Bolt Action 22lr today; my first firearm purchase. I bought it from a general type store.

It only came with one magazine.

I can't find any magazines for it, at the places I normally buy from.

Does anyone happen to have some extra magazines laying around and want to sell?

Or can I use a different brand of magazine that will fit my rifle?

They're pricey, but what can a guy do?

I have to order everything online, we don't have any decent stores here at all.

Sure expensive for a 22 magazine, wow.

Now, I know how to handle/shoot; but I know nothing of cleaning/maintenance. Which products would be best? Anything specific or just anything that will work?

Firearms & firearm accessories are some of the few things one can find in abundance in Alaska. Unfortunately Alaska still suffers from gold rush mentality, and combined with the cost of shipping, even abundant things are priced through the roof. You really expect everyone you price anything from to rub their hands together and say "One million dollars!" ending with a Rosco P Coltrane laugh.

Yeah, it ain't much different here in northern Manitoba; except we have to get most of our firearms at Canadian Tire (only select models) and at our "general" store. I prefer going to the "general" store, even with the higher prices.

Many people just travel 8 hours south for their needs. Unfortunately, we don't have a vehicle and can't do that.
