This happened yesterday in a couple of counties to the west of me. Dude tries to snatch a 13 year old from a dollar general in the middle of the day. Luckily he was caught after letting the girl go and running. Its a shame he didn't give the off duty officer that caught him reason to shoot.

The man ran out of the store and encountered an off duty. Deputy was in his patrol car and blocked the escape route.

Maybe a bit over kill but I would like the S&W .460 mag revolver.

But a .44 mag is plenty.

That or a .41 mag would do and I think a .357 would as well, with penetrating bullets. I shot a wolf dog point blank with a .41 and it was dead without a twitch.

I think .357 also, nothing bigger than .44 needed. .41 mags are nice, to bad they never had a big following
