    Knives, blades, swords:

I really like them. I've got more knives than I will ever need. I'm a fan of Mora's and Machetes for survival, no high end stuff for me. If I'm going to cry if I get a scratch on it, I don't need it.

I have a Benchmade balisong for my EDC. It was around $400, it has many scratches and I don't care.

That said, there are some great knives in a cheaper range. But there's a lot of crap out there. United Cutlery, I'm looking at you!

Yes, there's more than one way to skin a cat for sure.

I feel like a Tom boy joining in on this convo but knives are my thang. I've been collecting them since I was a kid. I have all kinds. Im partial to handles I can usually make any blade as sharp as I want it.
I give my nieces and nephews their first dull pocket knife when they're seven. I give them a sling shot at 10 and a buck knife at 11. It's a pretty big deal to get a gift from Aunt Sky

I currently carry a Steel Warrior buck knife on my side daily for work. Marble pink handle. She's a beauty, I feel pretty confident that I could fight bear.

I use my ESEE 6 to cut pizza. I carry a CRKT M16, I love it.

I've got a Schrade lock blade in my pocket right now, I think I paid 5 bucks for it. I travel on short notice a lot, so have a tendency to lose a knife here and there.

Moras are great deals for the money. I like the Condor Tool &Knife products. Relatively inexpensive, but high carbon blades.

As you can guess by my usernames, I make knives. I've been buying antique/scrap files and using them as knife blanks. I still flintknapp some and secure hafts with gut, sinew, and pitch.
Give a man a match, & he'll be warm for 20 seconds. But toss that man a white phosphorus grenade and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

I would never date a man that does not have a knife in his pocket

I had a cool knife with a reaper on the handle. Then it broke.

Thank you, but obviously it was a piece of Chinese crap. I just liked the reaper on the handle. I had a picture of it on SB

I reached large blade nirvana a few years back when I purchased a Cold Steel Shovel. Before that fateful day I had never met a knife that could dig a hole well, a shovel that could chop down a tree well, or a hatchet that was so much fun to throw.

Yeah, those shovels are bad ass.
