I have only one Kershaw, the Valmara. I love it.

What type of cutting tasks are you looking to use it for?

I chose mine, for skinning purposes.
It's not the size of the dog, in the fight. It's the size of the fight, in the dog.

No guts, no glory. All pain, and fury.

Just normal everyday type stuff. Nothing I would consider specific to me.

I think it would work well, besides; it's only $25. So if it doesn't, it's not a huge loss.

Kershaw is a good brand. That looks like it would work well. I've been carrying a S&W Cutting Horse in my EDC. It works great for me. I also carry an older version of this Gerber Ridge on my keychain/D-ring. I carried it on 2 deployments and use it for more than all of my other knives combined. It is my #1 go to.

Give a man a match, & he'll be warm for 20 seconds. But toss that man a white phosphorus grenade and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Nothing special but as long as you aren't planning to spend five years in the wilderness skinning bears you should be fine. I don't buy expensive knives made of exotic steals to carry because I just lose them eventually.

"8cr13MoV: A Chinese Stainless steel that is similar in quality to AUS8 stainless steel. The follwoing formula is a break down in the steel: 8CR part means it is 8% chromium and the 17MoV means .17% molybdenum and .17% Vanadium"

I have one, and for a small knife it's good. Just small for my hands. Still, if you like it, more power to you.

Honestly I think it's fucking ugly, however it has a cutting edge and comes from a good company.

I don't care for the blade configuration, it's limited in function.

My favorite thing is that when opened it's long enough that you can hold it well. And it's skinny & narrow when folded so it's comfortable.

I like to hand it to people and laugh when they can't fold it back up.
