Kershaw is a good brand. That looks like it would work well. I've been carrying a S&W Cutting Horse in my EDC. It works great for me. I also carry an older version of this Gerber Ridge on my keychain/D-ring. I carried it on 2 deployments and use it for more than all of my other knives combined. It is my #1 go to.
Give a man a match, & he'll be warm for 20 seconds. But toss that man a white phosphorus grenade and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Nothing special but as long as you aren't planning to spend five years in the wilderness skinning bears you should be fine. I don't buy expensive knives made of exotic steals to carry because I just lose them eventually.

I carry a CRKT M16-13Z and it's great, but I use to have this really cool assisted Kershaw that I lost. I'm thinking about buy the one above.
