    The Race

The clarity of disparity, bring forth societal hilarity,
But they're so scared to see, while the words follow free,
And there's two sides to the, story we go on just ignoring,
News media's boring, until violence tore in,
To a life captured in smart phones,
Just blank screens and we're alone,
A lone tweet to the unknown,
    Now how about that.

You're an interesting person, Mr. Henderson.
It's not the size of the dog, in the fight. It's the size of the fight, in the dog.

No guts, no glory. All pain, and fury.

A young black guy who worked with us back in the 1980s would try to free style like this. He was the same guy who tried to tell me that my .44 magnum would be more powerful if I fired 9mm rounds from it.

Poetry is not Harry's forte. Did you guys know forte is pronounced 'fort' not 'fortay'? It is. Intentionally work the word into conversation around some pretentious pseudo intellectual fucktard and when he corrects you, bet him $20 you're right. Easy $20.

Yes I knew this Steve. A music major from Juilliard explained it to me. I figured it'd be impossible to educate the masses though

Educate them $20 at a time.

It's so easy. You sound uneducated when you say 'fort' and the half-educated can't help but pounce.

Yup. I still say fortay, because otherwise people look at me like I'm crazy.

Riddle me this, Poe used English (at times) in his poems that was old even for his time. I get that. Still I'm a bit bothered by this rhyme, how would you deal with it?

From more than friends on earth,
Thy life and love are riven,
                    To join the untainted mirth
Of more than thrones in heaven -
im in ur head eatin ur brains
