    Early Christmas

Early Christmas has struck my home. Addie put out some Christmas decorations today. She wants to put the inflatables in the yard this weekend. Sigh. What happened to Thanksgiving? Do we still celebrate it?
Give a man a match, & he'll be warm for 20 seconds. But toss that man a white phosphorus grenade and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

LOL. We still haven't recovered from when Celeste (Jennifer) gave hermit crabs to the neighborhood kids as pets.

No rain and a chance of the first frost on Sunday. I was trying to add late season food plots, but no rain and now a possible frost does not bode well. Another factor is the soil test. It came back at 6 ph. They recommend 2,500 lbs of lime per acres for clover. Supplemental feeding and culling is the option up. BTW, they opened an early gun season for antleress deer on Nov 7th. I know this is probably too much info, but it is weighing heavy on my mind.

True. There were Christmas displays alongside Halloween this year in our stores.

                      Same here.

Who here really likes turkey? It's not one of my favorites, though sweet potatoes are great, along with Waldorf salad and warm rolls with lots of butter.

I prefer Chicken but Turkey once a year is exceptible. Salad without Russian dressing is just wrong tho. The rolls must be fresh, not store bought. If your going to buy all this in a store might as well just go to Colonel Sanders!
