    Leafblowers vs Rakes

    Grab a rake!
    Get some exercise!
    Stop making noise!

    There's too much damn noise.
    I don't know.

I have a Stihl BR600 Magnum backpack blower. It's awesome. Super powerful. You can blow leaves, sticks, a brick or even the neighbors dog into a leaf pile.

I upgraded to a fiberglass handled rake a couple years ago. So far, no problems, but I miss the feel of the natural handle.
        I don't know.

I doubt they ever made a hummel figurine holding a leaf blower. That should answer the question.

The lawn guy we have uses a giant ride-on mulching mower. I just use a leafblower on the deck - same one since 1992 or something. The guard came off years ago, just have to watch my fingers. Haven't had an accident yet!

When it's paid, I blow due to time efficiency. When it's personal, I too prefer the hard wood handle of a rake grasped firmly in my hands.

Well I could use a rake at work, but then they would basically be paying for me to fuck them. Blowing gets it done faster.

So, you like to blow, but you yourself prefer your hands, wut?

There is a third option you know

Just leave the leaves there to rot or blow over onto your neighbor's yard

I think there should be one day a month you may use a leaf blower. Any other day but that day. It should be open season on them. You should legally be able to rip it from their hands. Then hold them till the leaf blower day.

The choke switch on it works like a dream. Roight?
This sig didn't cost me any money.

I use my huge ass Honda power washer to remove leafs from the yard. It barely gets them wet. Really way better than a leaf blower.
