It goes to my Honey Bee King 4 (helicopter). Its a nice transmitter and i was wondering if i bought a Drone that was also 2.4 GHz would i be able to use the transmitter that came with the honey bee ?
Sure. It don't matter as long as it's the same frequency. I don't know how to get your servos know what to do tho. Trial and error maybe.
yea...trial and error could get expensive. It's one of the newer platforms that looks for 2 free signals in the 2.4 GHz for the T and R. I probably need to call and find out before i drop a few hundred on it.
Thanks for the web site.
True story:
My grandfather bought me my first RC plane. My dad had to help me put everything together. We were at his work bench on the back porch. He was sorting out parts and going through the manual, when he let out a laugh. I looked up and he flipped the manual around so that I could read it. He pointed it out while reading aloud.."This kit includes everything you need to get your Cox engine running". He chuckled again and said "This won't work. I usually need a couple of brunettes, a red head, and an 8 ball."
my first rc plane was on a string. I pulled the lever wrong and it barrel rolled immediately and hit my dad right after he helped lauch it. He cut the string, glued the wings, and sailed it in to the blue..... last I saw of it...... true story.

I was 9.
Sounds like a cool dad...I was/am dad-less, maybe why I am playing with toys at 50 years old.
I have yet to fly this copter. The first time it went about 2 feet up and crashed...$75 later it went about 20 feet up and crashed. This is why i was wondering if i bought a drone could I use my same transmitter. DDrones are easier to fly than helicopters.
