Small game season is upon us, but I've never been able to find a good recipe for squirrel. Also, if anyone has any tips for getting hair off the meat, that would be great.

As to the hair, use a blow torch and burn it off before skinning and cleaning. I always boil in a brine solution until the meat falls off the bone. Then I brown it in butter/garlic and then make a stew in a crock pot.Comment

We had some freezing rain this weekend. I have a squirrel that likes to hang out on the tree trunk in front of my kitchen window and torment my cat.
