Well if you've been using magnesium salt I can start to understand your problems. Try NaCl.

You should have run this by gamgee first. I think he worked out an algorithm for smoked meat/cheese combinations. This would have been a No-Go in my book. But then, I'm not gamgee. He might green-light it.
