I'll be going to see him in a couple weeks at the Hollywood Bowl. Nice venue for sound but the parking is atrocious. Will be my second time seeing him solo along with the 6 times with Pink Floyd. He is no spring chicken so this will probably be the last I see him. Best be a damned good show to get me to suffer the Los Angeles gauntlet!

Super jealous. I wish that I could have seen a Floyd show. Especially before they started having personal problems. PF is by far my favorite band. I can listen to them for hours. Gilmore is a fascinating musician. Enjoy the show.Comment

Same with Pearl Jam. They are probably my second favorite band, but Eddie Vedder gets drunk and spews so much douchebaggery during his shows, that it's hard to enjoy. I don't go to concerts much anymore. I prefer to just listen to the music in my own time at my own volume. Then, I don't have to give a shit about their politics. They are drugged out rock stars, what does their opinion even matter anyway?Comment

Just got back. Fantastic show! I was very pleased to see some of the band members were those I've seen before with the Floyd and David. They played a few songs off the new release and a good variety of Floyd songs. David's playing was crystal clear and spot on. For being 70 years old he played like a kid! The sound was incredible as well as the visual effects. They showed some new videos as well as some great vintage stuff from previous tours. Overall (the parking situation not withstanding) it was one of the best I've seen and I've seen a lot.
