Apparently going 97 in a 65 zone is a no-no.
Anywho it was a good wake up in regards to my lead foot recently, but I cant help it, my truck hauls ass in low and top end. Nice cop also, gave me a warning and chatted for a bit. Man, years ago I would have been spread eagled on the ground with a gun sighted on me. How times change.
So I received a ticket, but just a fix it ticket for one of the front light bars, which I already wrecked up.
Now I dont know how much truth there is to this, but I have been told that my license has flags on it. I know of a couple of them and as to why. When a cops runs a license here in CA, they pull up all your records. All of which are known as red flags, but someone once told me without going into to many details that I have a additional flags on my license that are of a different variety, which are good Samaritan flags, I dont know how much truth is to this, but to be honest, slowly through the years I am starting to believe it.
I dont have many run ins with the police any more accept in passing or business, but when it does happen I find that I am given large large extra latitude. Whether it is talking with officers checking the range or a simple ticket or other interactions that normally people get fucked in.
Does anyone know if there really is such a thing as a "Good Samaritan" flag?
