Speaking of the Plague.

Tonight I saw a Katydid stuck in a spider web on my back porch. Those little F*ckers drive me crazy. They will do some super tactical move and get in my house every time I open the door, they are weird bugs.

Anyway, after watching him struggle for 10 minutes I decided to pull him off the web. I said "you better not forget this"
5 minutes later he flies to my computer screen and sits here while I type, Like we are friends.

Ugh, I am gonna have to name him.

I find it an acceptional story. But I feel like the author need to better define who the protagonist is, the insect or the human

So, I did take into account the spider before i released the katydid, but right above the katydid on the web was a giant partially wrapped cicada that the spider had been working on all day. I figured it would be a while before he could get to the katydid, and it would be a long drawn out torture, to witness first hand what will happen to you next. I just couldn't watch.
So trust me when I say, I did put some thought into it.
