    Ready for my movie debut

In case some of you don't know, I signed up to be an extra in an action movie called Liquify. I will either be a terrorist who caused the CA drought, or one of the older aged veterans who band together to stop them. So I spent the morning getting my gear together including 3 "assault rifles", camos and other military type gear. Looks like there are at least 20 folks sighed up including a couple of women to participate in the final action scene.
This is a student film compiled out of Cal Poly University for teaching purposes but there is a chance it may be released on dvd for commercial purposes if there is enough interest from distributors.
Either way it should be kick ass fun just to watch how movies are made and be a small part of it!
I'll let you know how it went tomorrow evening!
    Screw diplomacy...........bring it!

I guess self extermination doesn't sound so good when you're a big time movie star.
    I don't know.

Tell them you need an assistant, a fluffer, and your own personal chef.

            Have fun!!

I may have to get a bodyguard to fend off the paparazzi.

If you really cared you'd handle it yourself.

                    I don't know.

It's raining on the set so they set the time back until noon but it's supposed to rain until 2pm. It wouldn't make much sense to film a movie about terrorists creating a water shortage during a drought when it's raining.

I know you have all been on pins and needles about my performance and now the wait is over. The film wasn't about terrorism like I thought, it was more of a James Bond type flick where a water mogul was creating the drought to sell water to CA. I was one of the mercenaries hired by him to protect his interests. We filmed the sequences of the final battle between the mercenaries and a group of vintage special forces vets who arrived to save the day. We had 6 mercs vs 8 good guys and did a series of battle scenarios including the best one where I was having a shootout the main male character, thus my Oscar winning performance................................I died! He out maneuvered me and blew my guts out with his shotgun. John Wayne could not have done a better death scene!
I took 5 guns and they were all used. I kept my AK and the rest went to guys who didn't bring a gun. Once the rain stopped we slogged around in the mud for a good 3 1/2 hours doing all the sequences. A drone was used to get several aerial shots. Overall it was great fun but it was a workout. I'm still tired this morning. The director was just a kid but he knew exactly what he wanted and was very well organized. All the actors were amateurs and all volunteers and were a great bunch to work with.
I'm getting my acceptance speech ready for the next Academy Awards.
