I had an idea years ago, but I was told it was too extreme and not "civilized". With the dna mapping that has been done, it is reasonable to expect to figure out a region and maybe even an exact village that a person is from.

One of the most important values in the middle east is that your family endure. The idea of the blood line, the lineage continuing is almost sacred to some people.

So my idea was a general policy...................

If you suicide bomb a US target, we make fucking glass in the region you are from. We make every attempt to erase your seed from the face of the earth.

It is one thing for a person to believe that blowing themselves up will result in heavenly rewards and all. But if they also realized that the consequences would be that their entire family and blood line would disappear?

I think that might slow some people down from enlisting.

And for the liberal American idiots who romanticize this stuff and "join Isis" you could be a little more forgiving. Forced sterilization for their entire family. That dna ends there too.

I don't know how I feel about this idea yet. But there will come a point where we have to acknowledge that we are being waged war upon by an enemy who has no rules or ethics. As long as they are more committed to destroying us than we are to fighting back, then we are doomed to lose.

I don't think Islam is a force we fight fire with fire. Their conviction is too strong. Instead we need to ostracize the fundamental Islamist from the modern interpretation. Much with western religion, the extremists tend to cause the most trouble.

The moment we think we can match the atrocity of terrorism to quell their motivation, as rover pointed out, we then become the very thing we wished to stop. You cannot stop an ideology, but you can educate and sway the able bodies. Hence why we do not burn women at the stake for being witches anymore in the US.

To defeat terrorism, you have to defeat terror. Show them you are not afraid, pursue them relentlessly and break their will to fight. Win the minds of their neighbors and make no confidant or place safe for them. Collateral damage should not be the goal if we ever wish to win.

Not sure collateral damage was the goal, so much as one of the side effects. I will leave this here.

It is not formal education e are likely to meet. But a education by showing them our intent and how we operate. Much akin to the ME conflicts, any person who silently sits on the street where an ambush awaits, has little sympathy when we gun down their family member in the ensuing conflict. What needs to happen is to have the places self regulate. But the inherent conflict is that Islam is about submission, and evil men have figured out how to dominate and exploit that. Other powers beating down the populace will not win the war, they are used to that already.

These folks should not be fleeing, but they are. This is more about people afraid to fight than the few willing bodies who join the enemy. One terrorist can cause a lot of damage, but it takes hundreds to let it happen. On September 11th, there were about 250 passengers aboard each plane, it took a couple men with box cutters to wreak havoc. No country is immune from cowardly men.

I believe there's no winning the war on Islam. We aren't radical enuff to fight them the way we would have to. I'm mean biblically fight them. Kill every man, women and child. But they will run wild till their cup of affection is full. Then they will be delt with. But not by U.S.

We (USA) actually created this mess in the Middle East. We opposed every leader that didn't tow our line and installed unstable puppet kings that eventually turned in us. Corruption breads more corruption. Europe failed too see the danger of letting these people in when they desired cheap labor to fund their socialist programs. I don't think they thought it though at all really.

If things don't change with European policies towards these refugees in 6 months it will be over for them. If Obama get his way and moves 40,000 Syrians to the USA it will be over for us to.

Muslims are like killer bees. if you're going to swat one, you'd better swat them all. And this is what you've done wrong: you've tinkered in the middle east. Twin towers was a warning: stay the hell away.

I think things are going to escalate till the only realistic answer will be a neutron bomb. it's a rotten shame we've deteriorated back into the middle ages, but we've stirred up the nest and it's not going to end till we exterminate them.

It's not collateral damage when they're the target. Obliterating an entire village and the terrorist's bloodline means the terrorists' family and neighbors are the target.

I think we need to deescalate. Leave their countries. And probably keep them out of ours. I simply cannot stop remembering the thought I had the other day: if europe had started infighting, and all the europeans tried to go to the middle east, just exactly what would the muslims do to them?

It's perfectly acceptable to rape a christian woman, or a christian man. No punishment from Allah for that. And they do.

A most emotionally heated race of people. With no compunctions about how they will handle the infidel. If we can't run there, why should they run here?
