Bad guy intends to exterminate, dominate, enslave or generally cause mischief and mayhem on a planet sometimes earth (lots of times in different historical periods) The Dr stops them with his able bodied sometimes hot, sometimes not assistants.

The Darlek invasion of earth is one of my faves fwiw.

I got the season with Billie in it. She looks hot if nothing else. I think this is the beginning of a renewed series after a few years break off?
I watch a couple of movies from season 6-7 when the Dr. Regenerates as a old fart. I think I saw the end of Time parts 1&2.

I've watched all of the David Tennant ones, a couple with the next Dr., and some of the old ones.

The Tennant ones were the best.

they are a weekly adventure show that starts with a dangerous situation and ends with the doctor saving the day. Like superman, or batman.

Except that batman, if anyone remembers, used to finish one story and then start the next in each show, thereby always leaving you on a cliffhanger.

They are entertaining. Not lifechanging, just something to watch that isn't going to remind you of your own life.
