    Eat Your Veggies!

I suggest corn, green bean casserole, sweet potato souffle, mashed potatoes, and peas with those little onions.

Note: All "Corn is really a grain" comments will be frowned upon.
    I don't know.

Potatoes are root tubers and therefore not true vegetables.

    You're welcome.

Candied sweet potatoes with pecans, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. We don't really serve vegetables, so much as vehicles for butter, cream cheese and brown sugar.

Green Beans and peas are legumes. Onions are debatable since it is a bulb of the vegetative plant. Corn and potatoes covered, you are left with one controversial onion.

          Enjoy

If the government calls it a vegetable, it's a vegetable.

NOTE: For those of you that are unaware, there are cultural, culinary, and legal definitions of what is a vegetable.
Those of you being intentionally obtuse, you are being frowned upon.
Those of you being obtuse for natural reasons are excused.

                          How do I put this.

a vegetable is a plant, or a part of a plant, that is used for food.

Even a fruit is a vegetable.
