Me, I think Putin is just ITCHING for a chance to flex some military muscle, and escalate shit to a high level.....Turkey would be overrun by Russia....then, we'd probably get involved (NATO talking shit, we'd be the Big Brother Backup when things go south), and voila! Armageddon!

I believe several countries are of divided loyalties on international stuff. They want to be in the UN and off the terror watch list, but they also don't go out of their way to report known training camps or even might look the other way when groups are operating out of their area. Syria is one of the worst, but Turkey is not pristine and above reproach (in my opinion based on the last 25 yrs or so)
So I think it is right in line for them to make it harder not easier for Russia to hit ISIS. I hope Russia does continue to drop flying elbows and roundhouse kicks on ISIS, and I wouldn't blame them if they made Turkey pay too.
And I know there is a lot of concern about the UN pulling us in if they do, but Russia could also claim mutual aid if they can show their jet was fired upon without sufficient warning, or in contested air space, etc.
I think we either need to double down with Russia against ISIS and fuck who ever gets in the way (Turkey), or we need to keep our big fat hands out entirely. It would be a pussy thing to do, but better than helping the wrong side (like we have done so often)Let’s Go Brandon!!!!!Comment
