The San Bernadino attack was poorly executed. The Paris attack was a little more sophisticated military style attack -- multiple fronts, etc. Like 9-11. Though it pains me to say it -- the 9-11 attack was a brilliant precision military maneuver.

They still managed to accomplish their objective -- massive loss of life, massive property destruction, financial destruction (stock market, recession, etc.)

It took one of my investment accounts 13 years to get back to its pre-9-11 amount.

And we are still living with the fall out -- airport detaining for the laughable "security measures, the hassle of proving you are innocent when you're an American citizen. I could go on and on but I don't feel up to it right now

Looks like the San Bernadino attack probably wasn't supposed to be. It was supposed to be larger. I think Harvey mentioned here, they probably got pissed and went off at them instead of whatever (bigger) target was really planned. It's looking more and more like that was the case

No, that's not a terror attack. That's an insurgency.

Any attack designed to strike overwhelming fear and disrupt peace is a terror attack in my mind...no matter the attackers race, religion, beliefs or ideals.
