    Ron Paul killed the USA

    Consider this...............

Ron Paul is one of the first independents that really took a lot of votes with him. Since then, we have consistently split our vote. We put up a tea party guy, a ron paul guy, a party guy etc.

Seems the dems do a good job every year picking 1 candidate and silencing all other opposition. So although every map of the country and every graph shows there being a huge majority of conservatives, we don't put enough votes behind one single candidate to beat the focused laser of the democratic machine.

We can hate the current jerk in office, but we put him there by failing to get behind one specific person.

All of the damage of the last two terms is OUR FAULT, and Ron Paul's and the other independents.... when they saw that they could not win, so many of them still ran "on principle." And gave the race away.

If we lose our 2nd or 1st amendment rights, if the supreme court rules in liberal ways, abortions, ebt cards, all of it. Due to us failing to come together and get a conservative in the big chair........

Good point. The dems, the DNC, have put all of their eggs in one basket. Hildabeast. They even convinced
    Biden to stay clear.

I think they are playing it very cagey with Crazy Joe. If the scandals look to sink Hillarity, then Uncle Joe will "step up for the good of the country" at the last minute. Mark my words.

Now the other half of this discussion is the people who will vote republican no matter who they put up. You notice I talked about conservatives splitting their vote, not the party. If the republicans put up another dem lover like Jeb or Christie, then I will vote for someone else. I WILL NOT VOTE for anyone but a conservative.

We just need to get together behind one conservative candidate. Right not, I think Trump is the best chance of putting someone in office that is hearing our voice.

Even if he did have other views in the past, his rhetoric over the last 2 years at least show that he can hear us. He might be pandering to us and courting our vote, but that is a little better than being ignored completely by Bush and Christie. I want someone in office who acknowledges that there are a lot of conservatives out there and is willing to speak for them.

Right now that is Trump, Carson, and Cruz and in my opinion, it goes in that order.

In 1912, Teddy Roosevelt's third party run was probably responsible for Wilson getting elected. Dark days.
              I don't know.

All this talk about party lines reinforces my opinion that the 2 party system doesn't work any longer. Nothing gets done because of gridlock between the two parties. People like my dad vote republican straight across the board reguardless whether the candidates are pieces of shit or not. I know others who vote Democrat across the board also. They don't even study the candidates to see if they can do a good job. They just vote party lines. Congress does the same thing. The majority of bills are passed by partisan vote. You don't dare vote against the party if you are a junior congressman. You will never get a bill past commitees run by senior members if you ever vote against them. The party is more important than the American people. What a fucked up way of running a country.
If people would stop voting along party lines and vote for what's best for the country, just imagine how good this country could be. This is why I'm a registered independent. I don't vote party lines. I'm basically a moderate conservative (my dad is extreme right wing and my brother a socialist) and mostly vote for a conservative candidate, sometimes an independent, never a Democrat. I hate the idea that I cant vote for an independent candidate of my choice because it might split the conservative vote so that leaves voting for a republican that I don't like just to keep a democrat out. That's just fucked up!
                Screw diplomacy...........bring it!

                  Good points.

I think we should get rid of the two party system.
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!

Maybe the Republicans shouldn't put up such shitty candidates every year. I know I won't be voting for any of them. Plus, they did a good job of totally ignoring Paul last time around, all for nothing.

Not voting Democrat is a given.
This sig didn't cost me any money.

I agree with, Matt. The two party hustle is what has lead America to where it is now.

                              Exactly Gamgee.

All of us regular folk know our country is broken. But we won't oust the fucks that are responsible.

I believe if we could get some leadership that could organize us it could be done.

I believe this is a very dangerous time right now. The earth has no where left to go. If you look at history, the regular people who just want to live their own lives migrate to a new place and make a new country. We don't have any place else to go. The only way to fix things is to oust the people responsible.
