    I saw Deadpool

I've been a pretty big Deadpool fan since I was a kid, so I was pretty excited to see this film. I hope it starts a trend of more adult themed superhero movies in the future. One thing that has always bothered me was in the past several years the Marvel studios have been pumping out garbage for children, while alienating fans that grew up on their intellectual property.

Overall the movie was good (7/10) but there were some instances where it felt a bit corny. I think the second movie that's already been greenlit will be better. This movie set a good pace and shows the capabilities of the Deadpool franchise.

Also, my Deadpool comic miniseries" The Circle Chase" issues 1-4 is now worth several hundred dollars. They were the only comics I saved since I was a kid.

Also, Negasonic Teenage Warhead was so adorable.

I enjoyed it too. I usually don't like movies that break the 4th wall, and especially not when they do it a lot. So that was my main beef here. Otherwise, not a bad flick. Definitely better than some of the other films I have seen lately.

Oh, on the plus..... I like when they allude to other versions. Like threatening to stitch his mouth shut... Throwing to the alternate version. That was funny. No more spoilers from me....

Hollywood should have been making R rated superhero movies all along. I can only imagine how great a REAL Wolverine movie would have been, instead of the garbage they turned it into.

I think when Marvel started making big screen films most people just liked seeing all the characters they loved in movie form and lost the ability to be critical of the movies themselves. They're terrible movies made in a way to capitalize on grow up comic book fans wanting to bring their children in to the superhero universe. None of the movies were truly made for adults and it showed badly.

Have you seen Watchmen? I was never a DC comic fan, but if they made an X-Men movie with the depth and darkness of that movie I'd be so happy.

Never saw the Watchmen, but I'll check it out.

Actually, the Marvel and DC comics were darker than the damn movies! I saw wolverine cut a mans arm off in the comic just for touching him. The stories were incredible, in depth, and very dark. There are many layers to comics, that Hollywood just can't match in their current state.

Hopefully Deadpool will change it all for the better. The theater was packed, the audience loved it, and even clapped at the end. I wasn't even a Deadpool fan before, but I'm looking forward to the next one now.
