Have you guys seen this stuff? It looks like a lot of fun, and I'm sure having drone skills & equipment could be useful. Especially if you own a lot of land.

I spent the weekend reading up on these racing drones. They're pretty affordable as a hobby to build an entry level quad but you'll need to invest in a radio and a first person view system like goggles or monitor screen.

Something interesting I've learned about Drone racing is the advancement of home manufacturing. One of the well known brands of drone frames are made by a dude and his wife. They have a machine to cut carbon fiber and you place orders and they make & ship you one. The drone market is EXPLODING right now and most places are selling out of everything. I think we're on the edge of a boom, similar to how "survival" suddenly became mainstream.-Admin

What I've been told is building one is better because you're going to crash, and understanding how to do repairs is essential. Assuming you're looking at race quads.-Admin
