I like how back in the 90's with NAFTA and all that the experts assured us we'd be an intellectual and service oriented economy, clean work that would eliminate the need for manufacturing. Well if that's the idea, maybe you shouldn't offer incentives to the third world to be educated here in place of our citizens. That way, Pajeet could go back and help his country. Ignoring rapidly increasing globalization and a massive increase in the workforce--who work for pennies on the dollar.

We're fast approaching that. Look at roads and bridges yes, but perhaps even more critical is the electrical grid and Internet infrastructure.
