Every other year or so, I see these types of articles going around. I don't know why they do, but they do. Someone wants to portray troops as under supplied, underfunded and undertrained. We are not. We had so much extra shit it was stupid. In OIF 8-10, we had an entire conex full of weapons that we never used. We inventoried it like weekly, but we had our regular weapons with us, so they just sat in the conex...for the whole deployment.

But for the life of me, something seems different about this instance. I can't find anything searching back that replicates this article. But meh, it could be just a funding war game the navy is using to get more money for secret squirrel shit. IDK

SEALs have lots of toys. They are the most highly paid soldiers in the military. My ex had a SEAL for a step father and the guy had every gun, boat, truck, suv, atv, dune buggie...
