    WalMart Customers are Broke

Interesting article when you look at it as the effects of over consumerism

Walmart is facing a "perfect storm" that's hurting its sales growth, according to Moody's. The...

Best quote, unrelated was this "Despite its slowing revenue growth, Walmart continues to invest heavily in employee wages and e-commerce in an effort to stay competitive with Amazon." , when WalMart is known as a low wage dead end job.

I think that they just came to terms that they are only a click site, meaning, they never reported any news only reformatted other peoples news. When they would report you knew it, because the article would be worth nothing, less than 1/2 a paragraph and pointless.

Their aggregate reporting sites now have become just awful. Mic.com is a prime example of horrible reporter bias.

Yahoo itself is a fucking joke. Katie Couric, really? I almost always scroll straight down to the comments, either to hear the actual story or read more about the myth that was 9/11. Either way, entertainment.

Near my house there is a "The Walmart". Just across the street is a Target and a Wegmans grocery store (great store btw).

It's like a social experiment. You go over to Target or Wegmans and it's middle class and up. People with decent cars and nice clothes. Women pushing a cart with a child actually sitting in the kids seat part. People smile at each other and say "excuse me" when they get in someone's way.

However, just across the street, at The Walmart, it's the same as every other The Walmart. Crazy people, obese women riding the provided electric scooter carts, while their eldest "child" pushes a cart with 2 other babies rolling around in the grocery part of the cart. Lots of beat up vehicles with hunting stickers and/or bible verses on them. Carts full of garbage food that they are buying with food stamps. It's fucking mind boggling. It's like you're in a different part of town.

It's not like The Walmart is much cheaper either. In fact, shopping sales and using coupons, I can usually save more money at Wegmans.

          I just don't get it.
