The bear attack was good as was previewed.

Tom Hardy was a major dick.

I watched The Man in the Wilderness many moon ago. Also based on the same character. I liked it so I figured this one would be at least as good.

I just bought this movie today, as an impulse buy; as I was paying for my nasal spray at Shopper's Drug Mart.

I saw the trailer for it, long ago and thought it looked pretty good.

It's a good movie. I liked Man in Wilderness so I figured I would like this one too so I rented it.

Yeah, it wasn't too bad; I was more interested in the setting than the story though.

Yes the setting is awesome. I read that some filming was in British Columbia.

However, the real Glass story was actually in much flatter country.

I saw that it was based on a story, after the movie was done. I'm going to look for it, so I can read it.

I found the setting to be very much like here, albeit without the mountains. So I was finding a lot of different things to take away from the movie; I was mostly interested in the one log building, with the hewn log chimney type deal (not sure what else to call it), but that I found really interesting and was thinking about building such a thing (if I ever get the time).

That bear attack was intense though, holy fuck.
