People are continuing to fight to legalize pot.

They have tried already to pass it for medical, but has been shot down several times.

Now they are pushing not only that, but to make it legal to grow your own PLUS release all prisoners of non-violent Marijuana arrests.

The A shot that down to be on ballot over wording. Now while that is being fixed they have added several more thousand signatures.

Legalize it and tax it. Marijuana laws have been a failure like Prohibition was. It has meant billions of lost tax dollars. BTW, I have never smoked marijuana. I'm being dead serious.

I don't smoke it and don't care to but if someone else wants to I don't really care. If they want my vote for legalization it can be had. I prefer that it be grown here and taxed. If someone wants to be allowed to grow their own I don't care as long as they take measures to make sure that kids aren't getting into it.

I do believe that smugglers should be shot on sight but I'm willing to vote for a bill that gives them due process before we assemble the firing squad. Same for those who sell or give it to kids.

The most fair solution to the "drug war" is to legalize everything. It's a self correcting problem for the most part. Once it's legalized most addicts will "do themselves in" by overdosing. The problem is that it's not really about the "drugs" it's about the money and power.

Don't do drugs, but definitely legalize softer drugs. Criminalization of harder drugs is not federal jurisdiction, so leave that up to the individual states to decide.

I think we should ban Dihydrogen monoxide. That stuff kills more people than all other drugs combined and is the ultimate gateway drug! You drink this stuff to get high but it aint potent enough so you add alcohol to it. But for some that aint enough so they smoke pot with it. Still not enough so they progress to harder drugs like heroin and meth but all the while they are still drinkin this monoxide crap. If that aint enough people like Night drink the high energy version of the stuff and look at her! I hope she can recover from it.
And look at all the poor people who accidently get too much of this shit in their lungs. Scary way to die! The drug czars obviously have their priorities wrong!

I think Oregon levies a 20 something percent tax on recreational pot. Medical is cheaper for now. The average price is $206 an oz. But it can be found at around $100 or so in some towns.

Its going $200 an oz for primo bud here. When I can find it concentrates are about $40 per gram.

From what I read , the price is btter here than in Wash or Colorado.

There has to be a provision in the same bill that legalizes drugs that if someone tries to give that shit to my minor Nieces and Nephews and i shoot their ass full of holes I have immunity.
