CIA operation. Oswald set up as the patsy weeks before at the russian and cuban embassies in Mexico City. He was impersonated at the embassies and on the phone to the Soviets. Hoover and LBJ left documents showing that they knew oswald was impersonated. Which means, someond other than him were invilved in the assassination. Because of this, it was decided to publicize oswald as the lone assassin and whitewash or ignore the contrary evidence.

Evidence has pointed toward the same mafia members recruited to kill Castro by the CIA were involved in the JFK hit. He pissed off some people.

Also the only reason oswald was even working at book depository was a friend new of an opening there. Only worked there like a month. Actually he did qualify as sharpshooter during boot, but tested as marskman later, a grade lower than sharpshooter.

He was a decent shot, but I've always found it hard to believe he was that good of a shot. I mean really, split-second mental MOA adjustments for angle shooting at a moving target with an adequate but not exceptional rifle he had only recently purchased? My .308 is dead on a 200 yards, but put me on a hill shooting down and I hit high every single time even though I am mentally factoring in a flatter trajectory.

Don't really care, though. JFK was arguably the worst president of the 20th century. From his abominable foreign policy to taking the world to the brink of nuclear war to his handiwork setting the stage for middle-east hatred of America to his buffet style promiscuity because he couldn't keep his papist sausage in his pants, the guy was the shit you scrape off your boot before you step inside.
