The first round of the 2016 NFL draft begins tonight at 8:00 pm eastern time. I know that some of you guys say that we shouldn't be watching gladiatorial sports while our nation is in decline but if we sit around watching the video of LaVoy Finicum being killed over and over all day it isn't a good thing either and Abs told me to stop sitting around grinding my teeth. Watching cheerleaders doesn't make me grind my teeth.

So, do you have a favorite team and if so what are you hearing about their intentions for the draft? What are the needs of your team? Or if you just feel like complaining about why is it you feel that your teams current coach/owner/general manager suck.

I'm a Colts fan and we always need defense. Only, they won't draft any defensive players. They alway say they will, but then it's same ol. They will probably pick receivers first, like always. Maybe another back up kicker. Haha.

Who needs a defense when you can build a team with just a franchise QB? That worked so well before, right?

I think the Ryan brothers both learned from their father and know little else. Buddy Ryan coached an aggressive defense and had a big mouth. Mike Ditka admitted that he and Buddy were both better together than they were on their own. They won the 1985 Super Bowl with Ditkas offence and Ryans ferocious defense.

The Seahawks need off line help and I suspect they'll be after d line players as well. They lost both in free agency. With Lynch retired snd Rawls sitting with a broken ankle they may opt for more RB's to look at.

This is the year to get your linemen on both offense and defense. Since the 'hawks let their left tackle walk I expect they are looking hard at Germain Ifedi, Taylor Decker or Le'Raven Clark at the 26th pick.

Someone just screwed Laremy Tunsil hard by posting an old video of him imbibing in some smoke thru a gas mask. He was considered by many to be the most talented player available this year and a sure top 5 pick.

So the Colts picked a center. Well, Ryan Kelly better be a hell of a center. I don't know much about him. They do need a O-line, but I sure would like to see some defensive talent.

Big shocker, the Bills take a defensive player from Clemson...just swinging from Rex's sack.

Ryan Kelly has been compared to Ryan Kalil, the Panthers center but he might be a bit bigger. Definitely the only center with a first round grade this year and a guy who is capable of blocking strong defensive tackles.
