    Building 7 :

Building 7 was the building that Jane Sandley of BBC said had already fallen on 9/11, but was in the background of the talking head while she was spouting propaganda. Rumors are that it was destroyed to cover up financial wrongdoings.

I don't really know about it, but what I do know, is that if they won't release the 28 pages of the 9/11 report, or all of the JFK and MLK files for that matter, then only a fool would expect to get the truth out of the US government or media about anything.

A decent write up with lots of good pictures and video stating that the "conspiracy theorists have it all wrong" about bldg 7.

Well, well... What have we here? An article from 2011 about SEC "destroying documents."

        http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/18/bu...eges.html?_r=0

"WASHINGTON — An enforcement lawyer at the Securities and Exchange Commission says that the agency illegally destroyed files and documents related to thousands of early-stage investigations over the last 20 years, according to information released Wednesday by Congressional investigators.
The destroyed files comprise records of at least 9,000 preliminary inquiries into matters involving notorious individuals like Bernard L. Madoff, as well as several major Wall Street firms that later were the subject of scrutiny after the 2008 financial crisis, including Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Citigroup and Bank of America."

        Reuters

        http://www.reuters.com/article/us-se...7874ZJ20110908

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The top lawyer at the Securities and Exchange Commission this week ordered the enforcement division to cease destroying all investigative records after an internal whistleblower complained the agency was wrongfully discarding important records."

        Rolling Stone

        http://www.rollingstone.com/politics...rimes-20110817

"As a federally protected whistle-blower, Flynn is not permitted to speak to the press. But in evidence he presented to the SEC's inspector general and three congressional committees earlier this summer, the 13-year veteran of the agency paints a startling picture of a federal police force that has effectively been conquered by the financial criminals it is charged with investigating. In at least one case, according to Flynn, investigators at the SEC found their desire to bring a case against an influential bank thwarted by senior officials in the enforcement division – whose director turned around and accepted a lucrative job from the very same bank they had been prevented from investigating."

SEC on the matter. Mostly just legal mumbo jumbo, but lots of censored/blacked out information too.

In 2013 a Judge said that SEC can destroy all the files that it wants...

            http://legaltimes.typepad.com/blt/20...d-records.html

"In a dispute over destroyed records, including those on convicted Ponzi-schemer Bernard Madoff and other high-profile cases, a Washington federal judge ruled (PDF) yesterday that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission did not abuse its discretion in how it responded to a request to recover them.
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg dismissed a lawsuit brought by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, or CREW. The group alleged that the agency failed to try to recover records on now-closed investigations that were destroyed, in violation of the Federal Records Act."

            NOW THIS PART IS INTERESTING!
Boasberg found, however, that the Federal Records Act only required the SEC to take action to recover records that were "removed" from the agency, not records that were destroyed. Even if the statute did require action on destroyed records, the judge found that the SEC had made enough of an effort to do so."

                So let's recap.

                1) 2001 - Conspiracy theorists speculated that SEC records were destroyed in Bldg 7 where SEC kept records.

                2) 2009 - FOIA request response letter from SEC stated that "we don't know what the fuck you are talking about."

                3) 2011 - a whistle blower from SEC says that they are destroying all kinds of shit and have been for decades.

                4) 2013 - a judge says that SEC can destroy records and doesn't have to investigate any cases if it's records have been destroyed.

Popular Mechanics take on the subject.

The long-awaited report from the NIST conclusively rebuts the claims put forth by conspiracy theorists that explosives caused the collapse of WTC 7.

A VERY interesting tidbit from the above article. Keep in mind that according to the SEC FOIA request above, the SEC offices were on floors 11 through 13, and darned the luck! That's just where the fire was according to PM.

"The final report describes how debris from the collapse of WTC 1 ignited fires on at least 10 floors of WTC 7 at the western half of the south face. Fires on Floors 7 through 9 and 11 through 13 burned out of control, because the water supply to the automatic sprinkler system had failed."

I think this is the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) report that Popular Mechanics referred to in their article.

                    http://www.nist.gov/el/disasterstudi.../faqs_wtc7.cfm

"4. What caused the fires in WTC 7?
Debris from the collapse of WTC 1, which was 370 feet to the south, ignited fires on at least 10 floors in the building at its south and west faces. However, only the fires on some of the lower floors—7 through 9 and 11 through 13—burned out of control. These lower-floor fires—which spread and grew because the water supply to the automatic sprinkler system for these floors had failed—were similar to building fires experienced in other tall buildings. The primary and backup water supply to the sprinkler systems for the lower floors relied on the city's water supply, whose lines were damaged by the collapse of WTC 1 and WTC 2. These uncontrolled lower-floor fires eventually spread to the northeast part of WTC 7, where the building's collapse began."

List of tenants of Building 7 confirms that SEC was on floors 11 through 13.

Rumsfelf on C-SPAN 9/10/01 about pentagon waste. 30 minutes long, but very interesting.

Secretary Rumsfeld and other officials talked with reporters about the need to refine the Defense Department's business practices. An opening ceremony will kick off Acquisition and Logistics Excellence Week. They answered questions from members of the media.
