Right off, they piss off 12 million bernie voters by hiring Wasserman. I guess Clinton thinks the pussy pass is irrevocable.

CNN and CBS both have Trump polling ahead of Clinton now.

He was on the Joe Rogan podcast a few weeks ago and he described himself as a libertarian. Then he clarified and said that means socially liberal, fiscally conservative. Which to me is great because I have a hard time taking a typical republican seriously when they have a huge problem with gays but stress that cutting taxes is important. Something about that makes me question their judgement.

Most libertarians are really common sense based folks. I have never followed party labels. I try to vote for the guy that seems to see things how I do. When I took the online values exams I come up closest to Libertarian.

                        I'm politically closest to anarcho-capitalism.

That's a very common political stance among young voters. I think people under 30 grew in to voting age during a weird time. Republicans are rabidly religious and represented the previous generations values the entire time and they all went liberal. Also with the age of information people are moving faster toward atheism/agnosticism.

Republicans won't drop the bible though because they don't want to lose a large chunk of the vote they can depend on. Unfortunately they're dying off and the ship is sinking.

That's funny. I am almost 50. I was raised in a super tight Republican family. And I know there is a lot of resentment of faiths and Christianity here, but my whole family was just........ decent and humble in their beliefs. I don't know how else to explain it.

I am educated, well spoken, and open minded in the sense of honoring other's rights to believe as they wish.

But I have been registered Republican as long as I have been voting. I have thought a lot about changing my party affiliation to Libertarian, but I feel like the Republican party is just as much mine as anyone elses, so why can't I vote for someone who represents my values IN my party? That is what I wish all the splintered conservative groups had done. We wouldn't have the mess in the party if so many true conservatives hadn't abandoned it to the Rhinos.
