Do Americans really buy the line that Mexico would foot the bill?
Seemed like a lot of cheering for a ludicrous idea.
If there is something in it for them I could see them sharing the cost of any sections of a border wall that were actually on the border. The threat of cutting off remittances might make them more cooperative as well as continued trade.
There are a few issues with a border wall that Trump doesn't mention for example US laws that prevent construction on wetlands. if the wall is built further from the border on those wetland sections they cut land owners off from their valuable lands and accommodations would have to be made to provide access to those land owners.
The issue like most isn't as simple as it's made out to be.
"In this image, we see one landowner's property near Brownsville, is bisected by the fence — even though all of his land is in the US. The fence runs inland, about a mile away from the Mexican border. "The horse is on the other side of the fence from its barn because the owner moved it there to graze," writes Balli."
Most of the pictures people post on fb of the impressive wall that Mexico is building on their southern border is actually of walls built by Israel along their own border. Mexico has been working to secure it's southern border for years but primarily to prevent smuggling and drug trafficking.

"According to the head of customs for Mexico’s tax administration, Raul Diaz, the Mexican border state of Chiapas is constructing a wall along the country’s southern border with Guatemala, along the river Suchiate which divides the countries. Diaz says the purpose of the wall is to prevent the passage of contraband, but admits, “It could also prevent the free passage of illegal immigrants.”
According to Mexico’s National Commission on Human Rights (CNDH), 500,000 people from Central America cross into Mexico illegally every year — the vast majority of them attempting to reach the United States. In addition, smugglers reportedly use the Suchiate River to move goods across the international border without paying duty taxes.
Just as Mexican authorities have opposed more strict border enforcement and the construction of a border fence along the U.S. border with their country, Mexico is now receiving a great deal of criticism from Guatemalan officials."
Actual wall or not, he will at least enforce our immigration laws and cooperate with Mexico in curtailing our mutual immigration issues. The Globalists are forcing immigration here and abroad. They, the US and Soros mainly, are attempting to undermine the Dominican Republic by flooding them with Haitians.
The t1000 most likely would be the best solution to defend our southern border.
We would most likely need an anti terminator terminator to keep them pesky maple leaves out.
"To fund construction of a new U.S. border wall, Donald Trump and senior advisers are considering various ideas, including the use of assets seized from drug cartels and others in the illicit drug trade."
I actually think that the way things are going, Mexico will build the wall and be happy to pay, just to stop all the influx of desperate Americans. I'm hearing stories over here of Mexicans trying to go home...
